Lucet is a uniquely international advisory firm for young and cross-border business ventures.

We light the way.

We serve private companies, early-stage businesses, families and individuals.

Using a highly solution-driven approach, we:

Advise on commercial transactions, investment arrangements and other business undertakings
Facilitate young companies to reach their goals through legal advice, strategic guidance and introductions
Enable the establishment and development of cross-border business ventures

Lucet is particularly active in the creative industries and projects involving the UK, Europe, China and the United States. We create a bespoke team for each project depending on the expertise required and the needs of the client.

Lucet was founded by Helen Sunderland-Cohen to serve businesses needing advice that is creative and a little out of the box.

Helen was raised in Switzerland, the UK and Australia, and lived in China for over 15 years, where she was the only foreign partner of a leading local corporate law firm. Her practice focussed on advising both international and local clients, from Fortune500 companies to start-ups, on cross-border, corporate/commercial issues.

A lawyer qualified in New York and England & Wales, Helen holds degrees from Bryn Mawr College and the University of Washington School of Law. She speaks Mandarin and German, is proficient in French, and attempts Hebrew. She is passionate about art, travel, food & wine, family, and new ideas.
